This was a pro bono project for an acquaintance who had an existing tattoo, and wanted me to add to it. I was given complete creative freedom, so long as I stuck to the music theme and trash polka style. I drew out the existing tattoo (the red streak, music bars, and treble clef) and continued to stretch the design to the right.  
The project soon fell apart after the person kept requesting more and more changes, and eventually I called off any further work unless he would pay me for it. He declined, and the project lay untouched for a while until I decided to turn it into an art piece. 
I removed the existing tattoo from the design so it could be all my work, and this is the result.
